Grassroots Action: Moving from Faith to Action
Barack Obama is a committed Christian and believes the people of all faiths have a place in American public life. Through an unprecedented grassroots effort, the Obama campaign is working with thousands of you to build an America rooted in compassion and a government that, in Barack’s words, ‘reconciles the beliefs of each with the good of all.’
Now, it’s time for action. If you support Barack Obama then we invite you to join with us on this movement in two key ways:
1. Declare your support for Barack Obama.
We've seen a groundswell of support from people of faith on this campaign and we need to keep up the momentum. Sign an online supporter card, tell us a little about yourself, and let us know you’re standing with Barack.
2. Become a Faith Community Contact (FCC) - the Obama campaign’s point person in your community of faith and network of friends.
As a Faith Community Contact you will be a connector between Barack and his supporters in your community, inviting others to join the campaign. What inspires you to support Barack is likely the very things that will inspire others. You are Senator Obama’s best spokesperson in your community.
